September 2010 - Great to have SUNO involved in The Great Race.  The girls had a great win over the Aussie's, while the Waikato University men put in a fantastic effort but were beaten by a slick and very experienced  Cambridge eight. Many thanks to Rob Hamil on Friday night and all the crew at U-Leisure for a fantastic and well run event.

May 2010 - We have been busy this month building gear for the Athletic Junior World Champs, which are to held in Moncton, Canada  between 19th and 25th July.

April 2010 - Is great to have Blog updates from Bradlee, Greame and Maccaa. Head over to SUNO blogs for a catchup.

March 2010 - A quick update from Cole Mossman, Cole has extended his trick record over the weekend, which ranks him third in the country for the open grade. He is still in the junior ranks, so the future is looking more than positive for him, congrats from us all here at SUNO Cole.

March 2010 - SUNO has had a busy few days involved with the Brian Perry Classic golf tournament. www.brianperryclassic.co.nz, was a wonderful 3 days, and we are appreciative of the support and exposure of the SUNO brand. A fantastic event that will continue to grow and we are proud to be involved with.  James Gill had consistent rounds of 74, 71 and 71 over the 3 days, and will be heading back to Europe in a couple of weeks. Team SUNO put in a creditable 20th equal, with Gary Cannell's eagle on the 10th then a very close second place in the shoot out (Gary won a set of iron's thanks to Srixon) being the highlights of our tournament .

February 2010 - Another team SUNO member comes onboard, was great to meet James Gill last week and we wish all the best on his upcoming year on the other side of the world.

January 2010 - SUNO is pleased to introduce Katherine Camp to the Team. Katherine is a sprinter who run's 200 and 400. We wish her all the best for 2010, and look forward to working with Katherine over the coming years.

January 2010 - Straight back into production for the new year, SUNO is crankin.

December 2009 - Holiday time for us, see you in 2010. Thanks to all our friends, family, clients and Team SUNO guys and girls for all the support over the last 12 months. Happy Holiday's everyone.

Valerie Vili wins in Berlin. Has been an absolute pleasure to work with Athletics New Zealand, Valerie we hope you partied well into the early hours.

August 2009 - Team SUNO welcomes Alexander McKenzie (Macca) onboard. Keep an eye on Macca's blog. Anyone that runs for 24hours and more and does so much for the good of others get's our full support. Macca is an Ultra Marathon runner, e.g.the Mt Taranaki run, but solo and non-stop for a bit over 17hours.

July 2009 - SUNO and Athletics New Zealand
SUNO now working hard to develop gear for the Athletic World Championships, to be held in Berlin in mid August. What would typically be a 10 - 12 week project has been squeezed into 3 weeks. 


June 2009 - SUNO and Athletics New Zealand
Keep an eye out over next few weeks for the World Youth Athletics in Italy and also the World University Games in Seria. SUNO will be worn by management and athletes. We will look to continue developments through to the world championships in Berlin.

 
May 2009 - SUNO Ngahinepouri Netball.
Time again for the SUNO netball tournament. Sunday morning was warm and sunny, the 70 teams all played hard and were there to win. The weather changed in the afternoon, it was cold, wet and windy for the last couple of hours. Well done to all the kids and parents who braved the conditions. Another great day, top job Wendy, Gail and the many helpers and hangers on.

April 2009 welcomes Richard Pethrick to the Team. Already a world class athlete at such a young age, it is great to have Richard updating us all with his travels oversea's and we look forward to his reports from the upcoming National Hockey League.

SUNO Events
Feb 2009 Perry Pro-Am Golf Tournament.
A hot and humid couple of days was had on the 10th and 11th of Feb. Team SUNO placed a creditable 6th. Many thanks to Richard Anderson and Richard Lee for their company and some outstanding golf.

We congratulate the Midlands Mens and Womans Hockey teams on a successful 2008 season. The woman finished 3rd overall and the men for the first time in the sports NZ history winning the 2008 Challange Sheild, when they convincingly outplayed and defeated Auckland 4 - 2 in the final at Lloyd Elsmore Park in Auckland. Congratulations to all players and particuarly to the highly supportive and vocal SUNO orange army that were there in highly visable and huge numbers for the day.
